A study tour to the Hong Kong International Jewelry Show as well as the Diamond, Gems and Pearl Show was organised by J K Diamonds Institute of Gems & Jewelry for its students.
The twin shows, together, are one of the largest shows in Asia with respect to the Gems and Jewelry industry. The Show concluded with participation from about 87,000 buyers and visitors from 145 countries and regions (Source). The students received hand on experience in understanding the international markets by visiting country specific pavilions such as Korea and Turkey pavilions as well as the jewelry fashion shows and design competitions.

The experience of the entire gems and jewelry supply chain was completed on finally visiting the biggest retail brands of the world in Hong Kong such as Tiffany & Co, Chopard, etc.
This trip definitely inspired and motivated the students to understand the scale of operations and a direction to their ambition in the gems and jewelry field.
