HK Kisna Factory Visit:
The first stop was the renowned HK Kisna manufacturing facility, where students witnessed the art of diamond cutting and polishing up close. The state-of-the-art factory showcased HK Kisna’s commitment to excellence, from their meticulous manufacturing processes to their stunning jewelry collections. Insights into their design philosophy and innovative techniques provided a comprehensive understanding of the brand’s market leadership.
Accur8 Diamonds Company Visit:
Next, students visited Accur8 Diamonds, known for its exquisitely designed solitaires and transparent, professional buying experience. With over a decade of expertise, Accur8 Diamonds has perfected every step of the diamond crafting process, ensuring customers receive only the most brilliant stones. This visit offered valuable insights into their bespoke approach and commitment to excellence.
Jaykar Group Company Visit:
The second day began with a visit to Jaykar, guided by the expertise of Mr. Kavit Parekh. The Jaykar Group stands out with its cutting-edge technology and comprehensive in-house processing of diamonds from rough to polish. Students explored the latest advancements in diamond processing and gained a deeper understanding of the technological innovations driving the industry. They witnessed the entire diamond transformation process—from rough stones to the final polished brilliance—providing them with a deep, practical understanding of the industry.
Anjali Diamonds Company Visit:
The tour concluded with a visit to Anjali Diamonds Pvt. Ltd., a distinguished name in the lab-grown diamonds industry. From its origins as a grower to becoming a prominent worldwide exporter, Anjali Diamonds has carved a niche in CVD Diamonds Jewelry. Students learned about the company’s journey and its impact on the global market.
Student experience after returning to Mumbai:
As the study tour wrapped up, students returned to Mumbai enriched with practical knowledge and experiences from Surat’s dynamic gems and jewelry sector. The tour highlighted the latest industry trends and also provided practical insights into the operations of leading companies, preparing students for successful careers in the gem and jewelry business.
