Students of J K Diamonds Institute also attended the conference held by the Thai Gem and Jewelry Traders Association. An interactive session where students got an exclusive opportunity to interact with the Association committee members and build a strong international network, along with getting educated about the various benefits of setting up a gemology business, insights about taxation policies, and trade ties between India & Thailand. Apart from this insightful experience, the students of J K Diamonds Institute also got a chance to know the in-depth practice of heat treatment used to treat gemstones at Chanthaburi, Thailand. Heat treatment is a gemstone’s exposure to high temperatures that alters the color and increases the clarity.
