Kirit Ajmera

Founder, JK Diamonds

Kirit Chunilal Ajmera is an instrumental figure in the diamond, gems and jewelry industry. As a manufacturer of diamonds and jewelry, he would supply jewelry to several showrooms domestically as well as in exports. Gauging peak interest of people to learn diamonds at a time when there was no suitable place to learn, he took it upon himself to establish a training institute to provide practical business oriented course in polished and rough diamonds in 1987.

Naman Ajmera

He is a qualified chartered accountant having worked in several consultancy projects at KPMG focusing on Luxury, consumer and infra sectors. He is a diamond trader and a jeweller and has been focusing passionately on gems and jewelry education. What is the duration of this course?

The duration of the Polished Diamond course is 8 weeks. The duration of the Rough Diamond course is 6 weeks. For several students who come from various countries and cities, we have an option of an accelerated batch through which you can complete the course in half the time.

Are there any requirements for joining this course?

These are skill based courses that do not require any qualifications. They are fit for freshers as well as experienced individuals. However, 10th grade passing certification is recommended. If you are somebody who is keenly interested in building a career or a business in the gems and jewelry sector, you are at the right place.

Is this course available in vernacular languages?

The courses are available in English, Hindi and Gujarati. Some of our courses are also available in Marathi and Bengali.
